Diablo 3 Season 26: Everything about the new season
New season, new luck? Diablo 3 Season 26 started on April 15. In this article, we'll tell you everything you need to know about the new Diablo Season, including the craziest upgrades, most important patch notes and best builds for the new META!
The Most Important Upgrade: The Reverberating Nightmare
What is behind the "Reverberating Nightmare"? Probably the biggest change of the new Diablo Season! Portal guards in the Great Nephale Portals can now drop the item "Solidified Scream". You can change it into "Kanai's Cube" after looting and open a portal with it.
In the portal, you have to prove yourself in an epic battle against increasingly stronger waves of enemies. The more you defeat, the bigger your reward will be!
In the new season, this also includes the gem "Whisper of Repentance", which you can use to upgrade your "Ancient Items". The tedious upgrading of Legendary Gems is now a thing of the past!
Tip: The portals are also suitable for quickly levelling up your Paragon levels! Hardcore heroes, however, are at a disadvantage in this fight for life and death.
Haedrig's Gift in Season 26 of Diablo 3
In the new Season, you can unlock the following sets with the seasonal reward "Haedrig's Gift" for Chapters 2, 3 & 4:

Important: You must choose one set per hardcore or non-hardcore character. To get the corresponding drop, you have to open the gift with the class of your choice!
If you complete the entire seasonal journey, you will also receive the Rakki's Memory portrait frame and the new pet Nibble Demon!
Balance Patches for Barbarian, Crusader & Monk

Barbarian: Raekors Set now scores with a stronger weapon throw and Spear of the Ancestors. The focus is placed on the rune Rock Throw.

Crusader: The Norvald's Raging Zeal set has been slightly buffed, but the Seeker's Thorns have been buffed to compensate.

Monk: The rune Fire Ally has been removed from the Innas Mantra set, so you can now deal the most damage with the Earth Ally round.

Basically, you can't go wrong with the seasonal sets from Haedrig's Gift - but for some classes there are other sets with even stronger bonuses for Season 26! In contrast to the seasonal armour, the following sets are the best set builds in Season 26:
